Pricing
Pestal supports teachers, tutors, independent learners, families, schools, and districts—because learning doesn’t happen in just one way.
Pestal is free during founding access. The prices below are a preview of planned paid options.
Pricing follows how people teach and study—not how many chat messages they send.
1) Role
Student, teacher, tutor, school, or district—each role uses Pestal differently.
2) Learning scale
Class rosters, active students, learner profiles, or seats—depending on how you deliver learning.
3) Generation capacity
How many units you need to build each month for lessons, practice, and assessments.
Pestal is not priced like a chatbot because it is not just a chatbot.
It helps users build, teach, study, practice, assess, refine, and reuse complete learning experiences in one place—courses, lessons, resources, assessments, feedback, and progress.
Students invited by teachers
Students invited into a teacher-created class should not pay. They learn inside the class experience.
Independent learner access
Building your own study course is a different plan from being invited into a class.
These plans show how access may be structured as Pestal grows.
Teacher plans are designed around class rosters and in-class learning experiences. Invited students join free.
Teachers
Bring Pestal into one classroom with enough generation capacity to build real units, run lessons, assign practice, and support students with an AI tutor inside the class.

Common questions.
Is Pestal free right now?
Yes. Pestal is free during founding access. The prices on this page are a preview of planned paid options.
Are students charged when they join a teacher’s class?
No. Students invited by a teacher or school can use assigned class features for free.
Can students generate their own courses?
Students in a teacher-created class cannot generate full courses under the invited experience. Building a personal study course is a separate independent learner plan.
What counts as a generated unit?
A generated unit is a structured instructional unit created by Pestal—typically a bundle of lessons plus related learning materials. The exact definition may evolve as the platform grows.
What happens if a user reaches a monthly generation limit?
Those limits describe the plans shown above. They do not apply while founding access is free.
Is school pricing public?
Not as a fixed table. Schools and districts vary in enrollment, teacher count, privacy requirements, integrations, onboarding, and usage. We scope plans in a conversation.
Will early users get notice before billing begins?
Yes. If and when billing is introduced, early users will receive advance notice before any paid plan begins.
Can tutors use Pestal differently than teachers?
Yes. Tutors often need client-specific learning paths, reusable templates across clients, and progress review workflows that differ from classroom rosters.
